Exchanges and Returns

We have FREE exchanges and hassle-free returns for up to 30 days from the date of purchase for all domestically shipped merchandise.  All returned and exchanged shoes may not be worn, altered or show damage of any kind. 

Our returns center thoroughly reviews all returned merchandise and photographs items with imperfections including marked up soles, scratches, and any other mark that shows sign of wear. Merchandise deemed unsellable may result in no refund to original payment, full or partial store credit or subsequent exchange. Jon Josef holds no responsibility of returning shoes to the customer.

Shoes marked as Final Sale are not returnable; Exchange Only shoes can be exchanged for any available style/size. Exchanges are always free on eligible merchandise. Returned merchandise incurs a return fee of $10 to for shipping & processing for the first item and $5 for each additional item. Any return processing after 30-days of purchase is at the discretion of Jonjosef.com on an exception only basis and is eligible for a store credit only. Worn or damaged merchandise is not refundable.

We provide pre-paid shipping labels for all exchanges and returns. Exchanges are free. Returns incur a fee of $10 for the first item and $5 for each additional item.

If it's been less than 30-days since you placed your Pre-Order you may use our online exchange and returns pages by Starting Here to obtain a pre-paid shipping label and request an exchange. If more than 30-days have passed our Customer Service team is here to help you. Just email us or call 800-972-5003 to obtain your shipping label and return authorization. 

Your exchange is mailed within 2-business days of receipt of your first item. The sooner you return your first pair the sooner you get your next!

We do accept returns and exchanges within 30 days of purchase however missing shoe boxes incur an additional fee of $10 for special handling.

Sizing and Shoe Care

Our shoes fit true to size. If you’re in between sizes, we suggest sizing up a half size. See our size chart and how to measure your foot. Still not sure? Our customer service team is also here to help!  Just email us or call 800-972-5003.

Our newest Gatsbys are free of leather linings and have a new padded insole.  

Some of our leather soled merchandise has this wrap to protect the leather sole as you try them on. Keeping your shoes? The wrap can be easily removed by peeling it off starting at one of its edges.

All our orders are processed and shipped within 36-hours  of your orderbeing placed. Contiguous U.S orders ship FREE via USPS Priority Mail which normally takes up to 3 business days to arrive however USPS has been experiencing extended delivery timeframes due to COVID-19. Priority Mail timing is not being guaranteed by the carrier. This has impacted approximately 10% of our orders which arrive approximately 2 weeks after receipt of your order confirmation. 

Orders shipped via UPS 2nd Day and Next Day may also be delayed. 

We apologize but we are not issuing refunds for delays in shipping during this time and kindly ask that if you need your shoes in time for a special occasion you consider this unique time we are in and our operational business hours – we do offer expedited shipping options which though not guaranteed do offer a better chance of faster arrival. 

Holidays sometimes mean we might not ship on a weekday. Email us if you have a shipping question or if it's been more than 2.5 weeks since your order was placed. 

Our warehouse continues to process orders within 2-business days of receipt of your order. However carrier delays have impacted the speed of some of our orders.  USPS Priority Mail (Free Shipping), 2nd Day and NextDay shipping timeframes are no longer being guaranteed by the carriers. We're sorry about this and wish there was something we could do except to ask you to wait up to 2.5 weeks for your package to arrive when you select free shippping. We kindly ask that you consider both this unique time and our regular operating hours when placing your order as we are not able to issue refunds for delays in your order during this time. 

We offer expedited shipping options from UPS: 2nd Day air costs $20 per item, and Overnight is $30 per item. Expedited orders placed before noon EST will be processed the same day. Expedited shipping does not arrive on Saturdays or Sundays.

We ship outside the Contiguous U.S. via USPS Priority mail for a nominal fee of $10 per order.

We offer three shipping options to our international customers. USPS First Class Package International, USPS Priority Mail International or USPS Priority Mail Express International. Shipping fees vary and are calculated as you check out. It’s difficult to predict the exact timing of your shipment because customs occasionally holds merchandise. Orders do not include international taxes or duties so depending where you live, you may be responsible for these fees.


We process orders as quickly as we can, but we might be able to update your shipping address, change size or even cancel an order. For fastest service Mon – Fri just call 800-972-5003 between 10 AM and 5PM EST and we will see what we can do. Weekends and holidays email us and put Change or Cancel Order in the subject line of your email.

There’s a time and purpose to all our offers for our customers, we are unable to apply discount codes to a previous purchase.

Our customers might occasionally see more than one discount for our shoes, but only one discount code can be applied per order.

Some merchandise can be ordered in advance of its immediate availability. Look for a button that says Pre-Order when you select your size. An availability date that is the anticipated ship date will pop up. Please note that order confirmations from Pre-Orders will not show your item is on pre-order but our internal systems keep your records current and your item will ship as soon as its available.
